The U.S. Indo Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) sponsored the construction of Trieu Dai Kindergarten, Trieu Phong district

On August 9, 2021, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee and the U.S. Indo Pacific Command signed a Memorandum of Understanding on constructing Trieu Dai Kindergarten, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province by mail.
During the period 2005-2014, the US Indo-Pacific Command (formerly the US Pacific Command) cooperated with the province to build 05 "turnkey" constructions: Cua Viet Town Secondary School, Cua Tung Town Secondary School, Hai Son Secondary School, Hai Que Commune Health Station, Quang Tri Provincial Center for Disaster Prevention and Mitigation; and 01 program of humanitarian examination and treatment and repair of Cam Thuy commune health station in 2009. Total funding was over 2.45 million USD.

The new cooperative project this year is the result made by efforts of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) - US Embassy in Vietnam (representative of the US Indo-Pacific Command) after a period of hiatus due to donor policy changes. In June 2021, the Department of Foreign Affairs received a letter of notification of funding from Overseas Humanitarian, Disaster, and Civic Aid (OHDACA) of the Indo-Pacific Command (US Department of Defense).

Trieu Dai Kindergarten project with the goal of improving the capacity of providing essential educational services for local people has an estimated value from 350,000 USD to 550,000 USD. The exact value will be determined after the project is completed and handed over to use. The project will be contracted by ODC in September 2021, expected to commence in the fourth quarter of the same year and complete in the fourth quarter of 2022. This signed Memorandum of Understanding will be the initial basis for the two sides to move forward. The next step is organizing the implementation in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, the requirements of the sponsor as well as the effectiveness and objectives of the project./.
